Skyya is a full service communication agency serving the PR and marketing needs of global technology companies. Skyya has been chosen agency of record for Globalstar. The partnership comes from Skyya’s successful one year agreement as strategic communications agency for Globalstar subsidiary SPOT.
Globalstar plans to launch a constellation of new state of the art second generation satellite starting in late 2009 through 2010. Skyya has been chosen to develop a strategic PR media and marketing plan in support of the second generation constellation.

Officials with Skyya say the partnership is a natural extension of their relationship with the SPOT brand.
Currently U.S. officials have counted dozens of pieces of debris and they expect when the counting is done there will be hundreds and maybe thousands of pieces.
This is the first high speed collision between two intact satellites.
